Reward Time!

Every Friday, students have a shopping day. They are allowed to spend play money that they have earned throughout the week.  Students can earn money for getting their planner signed, filling their planner out neatly, reading AR as well as taking tests on books they've completed, keeping their desk neat, keeping their checkbook up-to-date, being kind to others, having good behavior, setting a good example, etc.  Each Friday they can choose to spend their money on toys or candy. Sometimes there might be special classroom privilege coupons or even a chance to purchase a soda.  This week we had an auction.  Students with the most money saved or earned, could outbid their classmates to obtain the prize of their choice.
