Description:  This year of music is built around the question "How is music around us?"  Students will explore how our world incorporates music into everyday life.  Through projects, assignments, group work, discussion, and listening to music of many different cultures, students will receive a diverse music background.  It is important for us to understand not only our own American culture, but to explore the  cultures of many other countries, as well.
