   I began piano lessons at a very young age, taking from teachers  and church organists.  I continued my education through the Flint Institute of Music Performing Arts, competing for scholarships, auditioning and performing for concerts, and having the opportunity to study in a Master's Class.  I was very involved in High School Choir, Madrigals, and Solo and Ensemble.  I continued my professional education, earning an Associate of Arts in Theatre from Rend Lake College, and a Bachelor of Music Education with an Emphasis in Voice from Eastern Illinois University.  I have always thought it essential to share the love of music with young people and will continue sharing my love of music for as long as I can.  "Music: an experience, not always a performance."   - Mrs. Freeman
